The Danvers carrot was developed during the late 19th century in Massachusetts; it worked wonderfully interplanted with onions and grew particularly well in heavy, rocky soils. ‘Danvers 126’ is intensely sweet, and very resistant to cracks and splits. Strong tops make harvesting easy.Frost tolerant. 65 days. Sow in early spring or late summer.
