Jenn McCoy

Hello friends at Urban Roots,

My name is Jenn McCoy. I am a single mother of 3 adult children and I have 2 grandchildren. I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. I have moved away a few times in my life, but Buffalo always brings me back home. I currently live and work in the city of Buffalo. I work for M&T bank downtown and I live in the building right upstairs form Urban Roots @ 428 Rhode Island St.

I am interested in joining your organization because I absolutely love this community. I would love the opportunity to contribute and get to know more people in and around the area. I feel that my love for this city and my desire to improve our community would be an asset to your organization.

Aside from my work and spending time with my kids, I love to cook and bake. I’m also pretty crafty. I love entertaining in my beautiful apartment here on Rhode Island. My favorite hobby is walking. I walk miles around the city every day. My employer gives me lots of opportunities to volunteer around the community, like clean up projects and garden projects that I like to participate in. I am also very involved in the recovery community and volunteer time daily helping women.
