With a strong background in public health, communications, and marketing, Lucy has spent her professional career working to promote initiatives that improve individual well-being and community health. Having lived and worked in Buffalo, NY, Lucy understands the importance of creating spaces that foster urban renewal and community engagement, which aligns with Urban Roots’ mission.

As a college professor teaching environmental health to graduate public health students at Daemen University, Lucy sees a strong connection between the principles of public health and the mission of Urban Roots. Environmental health and sustainability are cornerstones of the public health field, and Lucy is excited to contribute her expertise to an organization that directly impacts both the environment and community well-being.
