Want to see more of Urban Roots from the inside?
Here’s a chance for member owners to learn more about our local cooperative garden market and get actively involved in interesting and challenging projects. Current working committees include Communication, Property, Planning, and Finance.
Your choice may be based on your relevant experience/skills, or you might want to learn something completely new while productively contributing to the organization. Your involvement could be for a short time, perhaps the length of one simple project, or more long-term over multiple months.
Want to learn more? Stop by our meet and greet to speak directly with Urban Roots Board members.
When: Wednesday, May 11, 5:30-6:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 14, 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Where: The park on the corner of Rhode Island and 18th Street. (Next to the Urban Roots yard.)
(If inclement weather, we will meet inside Urban Roots.)
Light refreshments will be provided.
We look forward to seeing you!
